Dear Mom,

This last week went really well. We have found a lot of potential and we are starting to teach people. by the end of the week we could have around 6 or 7 investigators so we are really excited about that. So, what's up with you playing stalker on me? Brother Miles is a way good guy, I got to talk to him yesterday about someone he helped teach back in august and now he is going to help us meet with him and teach him at his home.

That's good to hear that matthew is learning how to play basketball. He needs to have something like that to enjoy.
I can't believe that they gave ammon that award, I'm sure they jusy made it up for him... ha kidding. so i guess wrestling is over now? cool stuff.

Speaking of the Jodi house, Did Spanish Fork City buy that land from you guys yet or no? hopefully they have a generous offer?
This last week we had two really big storms, one of them was last monday and we were actaully up at the other Elder's appartment and we didn't think that it would be safe to drive back home. We ended up staying the Night and man! that was so not comfortable at all! I woke up every hour on the hour. I was very sore in the morning. oh yeah, speaking of sleep. I'm now on sleeping pills because I was waking up so much during the night. who knew? Then on thursday I believe... we had another storm in the morning so we didn't leave until 1. it wasd pretty crazy.
Elder Yukish and I have been working really hard. Man, by the end of this week we could have around 7 investigators. we are working through a part-member list seeing if the members spouse would be interested in meeting with us and getting baptized. So far we have found three that are interested out of that list so we are excited about that. Also we have found a few solid people through tracting and hopefully we will be able to meet with them and teach their families and then Baptize! It will turn out well. we are continuing to be obedient and Diligent so we will be able to be blessed with people to teach.

The other night we were teaching this couple and they smoke, so I asked for their Cigs and I got them and like 7 Lighters! ha it was intense! They have been taught for a while and hopefully they will really make their commitments and get married so they can be baptized. anywho. not too much else is going on here. we had a 7 hour conference on wednesday and learned alot about how to teach what the book of Mormon is and why prayer is important.

Welp, I love ya

Hey Mom,

The new area is really cool, we don't actually cover the area that the binghams live in, there are two sets of missionaries in the ward and we only cover the south part of Akron. Sorry for no message, there wasn't really anything to say. ;P

I'm with Elder Yukish now, he came out the same transfer as me. We have been working really hard this last week, for example, we tried to stop by a former investigator who no longer lives there and decided to knock the next few doors. next door was a part member family that we set up a return appointment and now we are starting to teach them and the following door was someone who has met with missionaries previously and we are going to see her tomorrow night. It's really nice to be able to serve in a place where I can see so much potential so soon. It's mostly because this area doesn't have nearly as much money as wadsworth, so work will be good.

When I first got here we had 0 Investigators. that was 5 days ago, Now we have 3 potential investigators. one even came to church yesterday, but the credit to that goes to the other Elders in the Ward.

That is true, it's a good thing that I didn't go to Medina. Elder Yukish and I have fun but We work. Leake did stay in Wadsworth and honestly I think that He might close it out with sisters coming the following transfer, there isn't much going on and the new comp he got seems lazy so I can't really see the area turning around with them there. but who knows, Maybe Leake will decide to start to work.
The zl that came out with us is actually the new AP, so it was a little weird, I don't know why he came out with us to be honest.

I forgive Jayme, we don't have that much to say. I know that! haha

So I believe Fila is a shoe company, maybe it's something different. well it's a good thing you didn't come out after telling me. if you were to come here without telling me that should be fine, haha just don't look for me.

Matthew, Hmm, well I don't knwo what to say to get him to be more aggresive, It's just not his nature. hopefully he will come to realize that he can be both, but only aggresive when he is playing ball. haha

Grandpa would be impatient with something like that. we all are. He will get there soon enough though so it's alright.

the reason why I went to that resturaunt is because I wanted to be able to say that I have been to a ritzy place! haha, They had a deal with a 32 oz. porterhouse, but that was like 60 dollars. I didn't have that much money. (the money I used was given to me by the members!) That sounds like a killer meal though at Texas Roadhouse. mm good food.

That is weird that ***** would be engaged, but, she would be the type of person that would do that! haha. it doesn't really surprise me whatsoever. She is too young and immature in my mind, but hey, what can I say, she went to BYU-I do. :P and you know those mormons, they get married as soon as they can. haha
Anyways, it decided to snow again last night. we had a week or so where it was in the 50's almost to 60, it was really nice, but then it decided to snow and get freezing again, sooo not cool! hopefully it all goes away soon, I'm just really not a fan of the cold!

But guess what? I got an e-mail from chet, he is out in the field now. I have yet to hear from Matt or JR, but that doesn't really surprise me at all knowing them. He is doing well, still a greenie of course but things are going well for him the way it sounds.

So my address is 229 Lilac Place 44203. if you want to send me anything that is... haha

So There is a former football player in the ward, He actually played, ha his name is Stacey Miles, He is huge, I don't know if you ever looked on LDS.org and saw the video the missing piece. I just thought I would throw that in ammons face, I don't know why, He probably doesn't even care, but hey. I did anyways... ha :P well, let see... there was a baptism on friday.

I didn't teach the guy, but I have heard lots of stories about him and it was cool to finally meet him and see him be baptized. so hmm I think that is about it for now.

Love you.

Hey hey!

So I'm getting Transferred. I'm either going north twenty minutes or I'm going east ten minutes. those are the only two possibilities. If I go up north I will be with Elder O'Neill in Medina, If I go east i will be in Barberton with Elder Yukish. Most likely I will go to Barberton. I'm pretty excited because Elder Yukish is a hard working missionary and I can learn from him. Mostly Because I wont have to do everything. haha

That is amazing how quickly he has recovered. wow. that is really amazing. The Power of the priesthood is remarkable. The things that are possible from it are absolutely stunning. the faith that you gain from those experiences are out of this world. I'm sure Grandpa is really happy to get out of the hospital too. It will be good for him to see theresa.

I cannot believe that Chubby boy's record was that good. that is awesome. My record, well I have been down for the count.. haha for some odd reason I have been randomly vomitting. I have no idea what it is from whatsoever. I feel perfectly fine and then all of the sudden I will have to up-chuck my lunch or dinner! oh it is annoying! I Have no Idea what it is. Weird things come with a weird state, right?

That would be really cool and good for Ammon to work with Jeb, it will most likely be the hardest thing that he has done. Jeb is a good wrestler. oh man. but who is troy Latham, The name sounds familiar but I can't remember exactly who he is. Throwing coach? I dunno?

So this week I went and ate at the fanciest resturaunt I have even been to. I Dropped Thirty dollars on a pasta, salad and a drink! man, it was cool though, The shrimp in the pasta was so big, and it was soo good. it reminded me of when we were on our cruise and we were able to eat like four lobster tails! ha. (except this time it hurt my wallet). So I have decided that if I go to barberton I'm going to get tough, Barberton covers most, if not all, of Akron and there is ghetto. I will see black people.. wow. haha and It's a really big city, I have never been in one of those you know? but I have also decided that we are going to baptize like crazy, we will destroy satan! haha man, I'm weird. It is such a relief though to know that I'm leaving Wadsworth and my companion, This transfer has been really hard. Mostly because the amount of lessons we were teaching were practacally cut in half. this last week we only taught one person who wasn't a member, the rest were active members or less active. This Next Transfer I hope it doesn't die too much, they are going to have to be very diligent and tract a lot to find on their own. Wadsworth only really has two investigators and neither are ready to make commitments, one we haven't seen in two weeks going on three, the other is barely more dedicated to meet with the missionaries. Hopefully they can find more and keep the ward's trust because there is really a plethora of potential here.

Tell Jayme She can get married before I get home... if she feels so Inclined, but as far as having a child.. well, that is really quite soon. so she better not haha. That is really crazy that spencer is engaged, took him long enough! ha (but I'm going to be doing the same thing. just watch!) That is killer Timing though, Evan will be able to watch them be sealed and then he is gone! wow. that is really sweet. anywho... Not much more to say. Hopefully the e-mails will get longer next transfer with more things to talk about.. we will see! :P

Love ya
Michael

Hey dad.

I'm in wadsworth until tomorrow, I'm either going to Barberton or Medina. I will find out the rest tomorrow. ha

Thats good that you are able to start riding again, I got a work out from some members in the ward that is like some canadian army work out and it's pretty tough, i'm going to start doing that every day and see what happens. ha it's still too cold here to go running in the mornings.

I did get the Camera! thank you so much, now I can take pictures and mom will be pleased because I have been able to carry it around with me and so now she will be able to see more pictures of her son. haha

By the way, I can't wait for spring!

Love

Michael

Oh mother,

My week, Ha! what a silly question! haha wow. Things have sucked this week! By the end of this week we will have done absolutely everything you can possibly think of, even tract! Unfortunately the storm wasn't as big as it was predicted or as big as i had hoped. we only got an inch or so of ice, so really it wasn't too bad. It has been getting a bit warmer but I keep getting told that February is the worst month in winter. Thanks for remembering to finally send my camera!

Jordyn! I can't believe you didn't see my name on the card! oh goodness girl. haha I am glad she liked it. I thought about sending a dora one but then I saw Tiana so I thought that would be better! Jennifer, She didn't send me anything for my birthday so yeah... haha sorry sister! Happy 21st birthday, you can now go and drink some alcohol! Just be careful you don't get TOO drunk! haha just kidding! No, Jennifer, I probably would have sent you something but I didn't think that only a card would suffice for you.. and missionaries are more poor than college students. so I can't really do much... Lo Siento. Oh by the way. I can't believe that the Packers won! I guess the Steelers played a horrible First half and Ben Rothlisberger threw two picks and one went back for a touchdown. Oh well.

We decided it would be really stupid to go and tract during the superbowl (because that's all we have to do). So we went to a Members house, Got some Ice cream and played ping-pong and foosball with the kids. it was pretty fun. Far more effective having a good influence on little kids. According to my Gut feeling, This will be my last full week in Wadsworth, Sisters might even get put back in the area, we'll know if we are getting shotgunned by the end of this week. That's pretty funny about Kenna and Evan though. That's really cool he is going to Panama, Hopefully he doesn't get as sick as spencer did and have to go to the hospital a million times.

I hate Ammon, why does he always have to do better than me?! the kid needs to get off of the steroids and HGH you know?! goodness haha that's really cool though that he superseded his goal. now it's all glory, it doesn't matter now, all it is to learn what to do bettter on next year. then, Move on to football. Unless he decides to wrestle all year.. .Horrible Idea if you ask me. haha :P He will be a beast when He gets to be as old as the rest of his opponents. but, He will never be able to take the older brother. because, I am a cheater and a lot smarter. Just like how webb would always beat me. haha

Ooh, surgery. He will be good and all will be well. Dont' forget a blessing is always available. I hate hospitals, not a cool thing whatsoever. so. yeah. anyways, I don't really know what else to say...? We have a Zone Leader From kirtland coming down to be in triple-up with Elder Leake and myself tomorrow until wednesday. He possibly might be the new AP, but Elder Leake doesn't think so. I am going to interrogate him and find out why another zone leader, not even ours, is coming here. I'm going to find out if he is the new AP and if he is coming down to make sure we are really working because our numbers have dropped dramatically. who knows!? oh well, I don't really care because I know that I'm doing my best and So does God, so to heck with man!

So, What happened to me getting my camera three weeks ago when you said you were going to send it? ;( I was dejected when I didn't see it come. haha only a little. but today has already been a good day and I hope it helps me gain my motivation again. first off, we went up to The Medina Elders appartment, (in the same district) filled their tub with Hot Chocolate and then we had popped over 50 bags of popcorn put it in a huge trash bag and rigged it so when they open their closet to do their laundry it spills all over! oh it is going to be so funny to hear their reactions, I think that Elder O'Neill will get a good laugh out of it because he is not getting along well with his companion (neither are we) so I think he will just get a kick out of watching his companion not know what to do!

I'm sorry for the short E-mail, and for all of the other short e-mails you have recieved this transfer, when not much is going on it is hard to talk a long time about missionary work so. yeah, Here is a question I thought of Yesterday. In Sacrament we were singing the spirit of God and there is a line in there that says Gods Power and knowledge is increasing, but Bruce R. Mckonkie states in his talk the 7 deadly heresies that God is already all knowing and all powerful, so which is right? Take into consideration too that the bretheren have to approve each hymn in the hymnal. haha what do you think of that?

But I just thought of something else to talk about. In Testimony meeting yesterday the spirit was there super strong. one of the families has a thirty year old son who just had a tumor removed from his heart, it was cancer which is very rare to have in your heart. now as the members got up, I have never seen one ward rally around a single family so much and feel and know that everyone in that room who was fasting, that it was all in behalf of their son. wow. I love this ward. I truly do and I have never seen something take place in a testimony meeting like i did yesterday, it was remarkable.

Now, I am out of things to say, so until next week, I'll know where I am going!

Love you
Michael
